Inspiration
My inspiration comes from my European small town upbringing and my travels around the USA. Back in the day, when I was young, people would not waste any building materials. They planned for buildings to stand for a lifetime. This kind of philosophy still determines the way I look at my designs.
My young professional life has been influenced by some of the cities I visited and their architecture. A couple of my favorites are both located in California. I admire Los Angeles with its skyscrapers and also San Diego where hispanic charm meets functional living at prime real estate prices.
The reason I live and design in Colorado, however is this:
The beauty and closeness of nature allows me to keep my vision of people, architecture, and nature to coexist in a mutually supportive way. I find like minded people in Denver, that care about the same issues I do, like the environment.
